We are seeking motivated CT Technologists to join our dynamic, highly-skilled CT Team on beautiful Galveston Island, or floating across our four campuses (with additional pay for floating). Whether you are already CT-Registered, or are a new grad preparing for Registry, UTMB has a great opportunity for you!

Duties of the CT technologist include working independently to complete a variety of common and specialty CT exams as well as directly assisting physicians with all diagnostic and special CT procedures. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, a good communicator, highly collaborative and have superior critical thinking and trouble-shooting skills. Whether you have considerable CT experience or are just getting your career started, we would like to meet you! Ultimately, a successful CT Technologist will collaborate with their team and other members of the patient care team to define the future of healthcare and provide the highest quality care to our patients.

• Tuesday - Friday evenings, 12:00 noon to 10:30 pm
• Tuesday through Friday nights 9:00 pm - 7:30 am
• Saturday, Sunday and Monday nights 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
• Up to 19.99 hours/week with no set schedule. Must be willing to work all shifts. (not benefit-eligible)

Compensation and Benefits Include:

• CT Technologist I: $60,320 - $75,400 (mid) - $90,480
• CT Technologist II: $65,846 - $85,600 (mid) - $105,354
• Free medical insurance for employees on day 1
• State retirement with employer contributions

Minimum Qualifications for CT Technologist I:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Associates of Applied Science
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• Graduate of an accredited computed tomography program (to include UTMB cross-training program)
• No experience required

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS OR CERTIFICATIONS

• ARRT(R); ARRT(CT) or NMTCB(CT) or eligible (must obtain within 6 months of hire)
• Texas Medical Board certification (MRT)
• American Heart Association BLS

Minimum Qualifications for CT Technologist II:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Associates of Applied Science
• Graduate of an accredited radiology program
• Graduate of an accredited CT program (to include UTMB Cross-training program)
• Proficient in all CT, CTA, CT Perfusion, CT Cardiac and CT Interventional procedures
• 3+ years of experience

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS OR CERTIFICATIONS

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (R)
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT(CT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board NMTCB(CT)
• Texas Medical Board certification (MRT)
• American Heart Association BLS
