Overview

The Engineering Aide III will be responsible for ensuring quality and functionality of our products through controlled assembly processes or through rigorous testing procedures. This role requires a strong technical acumen, hands-on talent and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Prepare and operate a wide variety of standard assembly or test equipment consisting of multiples of measurement and assembly tools, generators, oscilloscopes, amplifiers, etc. to ensure or verify high quality subassemblies and systems in accordance with available instructions and specifications.
2. Complete and update equipment records, job work orders and other project documentation.
3. Perform the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
4. Verify and analyze test results against acceptability criteria.
5. Comply with a variety of documents including test specifications, wiring diagrams, schematics, etc. and make necessary recommendations for edit or change in test procedures and specifications.
6. Engage as a partner and mentor to peer technicians.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

1. A minimum of three (3) years of experience in the Electronics or Aerospace Industry.
2. High School (High school diploma) or GED.
3. Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate).
4. Electrical Theory (Intermediate).
5. Instrumentation (Intermediate).
6. Measurement Techniques for Electrical and Mechanical Assembly (Intermediate).
7. This position requires access to technology, materials, software and/or hardware that is controlled by export laws of the US. In order to be eligible, the applicant must be either a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Salary Range : $26.93 hourly - $33.00 hourly

Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
