If you are in receipt of a pension upon commencing employment with the authority, this may affect your pension entitlements and you should therefore seek advice from the relevant Pensions Authority.About The PostWe are looking for a 37 - h ou r business support officer to safeguard minute-taking across adult social care, providing an effective business support service to front-line and statutory services per relevant government legislation and guidelines.• Support safeguarding meetings by attending and minute taking them directly onto a mobile device• Upload minutes and documentation to Erica• Distribute approved minutes to professionals /attendees• Arrange venues for meetings• Co- ordinating meetings with professionals and families• Team invites as and when required• Supporting the management of the safeguarding coordination inbox daily• Typing minutes from recordings.• Supporting with the updating of the Learning disability register• What will you need• You will hold a Level 2 qualification, have a business support background or a keen interest in developing within this area. A pplicants need to be aware that there may be exposure to emotionally charged information in connection with vulnerable adults and a level of personal resilience is required . Support is provided via regular one-to-one meetings and de-briefings if / when required . You will be flexible in your approach to ensure the overall service objectives are achieved, be an excellent team player, have a ‘can do’ attitude and be willing to make a solid contribution to the smooth running of the service.
