The Town of Elkton is currently accepting applications for the position of Laborer II with the Public Works Department. This is a full time position with salary depending on qualifications. In addition, the Town of Elkton offers a comprehensive benefits package to full time employees. This position answers to the Director of Public Works to receive daily work assignments and serves as a crew leader as needed. Preferred applicants will have previous experience and knowledge involving public utilities to include, water and sewer maintenance and repair. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid Virginia Driver's License. Applicants should also possess a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of employment. Drug screening and physical are required as a condition of employment.
