We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Evening Supervisor!
Patient Care Manager (RN) Role:
The Patient Care Manager (RN) assists the Director of Nursing and is responsible for planning, developing, organizing, and coordinating the daily operations of the nursing department.
Major Responsibilities and Tasks for the Patient Care Manager (RN):
• Plan, develop, organize, implement, and oversee nursing services for residents in the assigned area.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations as well as facility policies and procedures.
• Review and address complaints and grievances submitted by staff, reporting necessary issues to the Director of Nursing.
• Maintain adequate supplies of medications, medical supplies, and equipment on the unit to meet residents' needs and notify appropriate personnel when supplies are low.
• Assist in creating written preliminary and comprehensive assessments of each resident's nursing needs.
• Assign nursing and aide responsibilities as needed.
• Encourage staff participation in external training programs and schedule appropriate times for such activities.
Education and Experience Requirements for Patient Care Manager (RN):
• A nursing degree from an accredited institution.
• At least two (2) years of direct care experience in long-term care, restorative, or geriatric environments.
• A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a nursing supervisory role, preferably in a nursing home setting.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must meet state requirements for relevant licenses or certifications and have no active disciplinary actions against their professional license.
