Role Description
This is a full- or part-time position for a Tour Guide at Beyond the Bayou Tours in Madisonville, LA. The Guide will be responsible for leading guided tours, communicating effectively with participants, delivering excellent customer service, sharing historical insights, and participating in continued education as the industry evolves.
Qualifications
• History & Environmental knowledge is a huge plus
• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
• Passion for sharing knowledge and engaging with different audiences
• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing tour dynamics
• Knowledge of local attractions and landmarks around Louisiana
• First Aid/CPR certification
• Valid Drivers license, Chauffeur's License is a plus
• USCG Captains License is a plus
• Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
