Priority Yard and Train is currently recruiting a Rail Yard Supervisor at our rail terminal in Melvindale, MI. This position offers competitive pay and benefits.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Supervise some aspect of the daily railcar loading operations
• Ensure compliance with company, AAR and NS requirements, policies and procedures
• Maintain/perform daily reporting
• Communicate with crews regarding work assignments
QUALIFICATIONS:
• One Year supervision experience preferred. WE WILL TRAIN YOU TO SUCCEED.
• Good organizational & communication skills
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• General knowledge of railroad operations
• Ability to delegate/prioritize & complete assigned duties
REQUIRED:
• Basic computer skills (including Microsoft Office programs)
• Valid Driver's license
• Ability to pass eRailSafe background check (post offer)
• Ability to work off shift and weekends a must.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
These positions will primarily be working in the rail yard in all- weather situations. These positions may require bending, climbing, twisting and kneeling (over 4 hours).
