Family Promise of Juneau’s mission is to end child homelessness by building a community of support and providing comprehensive services to families in need. The Program Support Specialist plays a role in this mission by assisting the Executive Director in managing our emergency shelter and day center programs, ensuring effective service delivery to our clients.

Member Duties : DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES Scheduling and Coordination ¿ Develop/manage the daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for shelter/day center operations including managing client transportation and meal schedules. Build capacity. ¿ Coordinate with staff, volunteers, and partner organizations. ¿ Assist in organizing special events, training sessions, and community outreach initiatives. ¿ Program Support ¿ Assist with the intake and orientation process ¿ Support the implementation of case management plans. ¿ Monitor program activities to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures. ¿ Preparing reports, managing communications, and maintaining program documentation. ¿ Track and manage inventory of hygiene supplies, socks, blankets, and snacks for guests at the day center. ¿ Handle inquiries and provide information to clients, staff, and the public. ¿ Communication and Reporting ¿ Maintain open communication ¿ Participate in staff meetings
