Sam’s Social Media Club is helping British Triathlon find a Head of Marketing.

We’re looking for an experienced, creative, and innovative marketeer to join us in the exciting period leading up to Paris 2024, LA 2028 and beyond.

As Head of Marketing, you’ll work collaboratively with colleagues from across the organisation and Triathlon Home Nations to develop and drive our digitally focused marketing strategy to new heights. From lead generation and performance marketing to customer acquisition campaigns, you’ll have a direct impact on our success by continually improving the digital customer experience.

You will:
• Use your skills to lead cross functional internal and external teams, creating best in class brand assets, content, and campaigns.
• Maximise opportunities for paid marketing strategy ideation and implementation.
• Produce purposeful, engaging, and creative content for our audience.

Our ideal candidate will be digitally savvy, with proven skills across content marketing, Search Engine Optimisation, Pay Per Click (Google and social ads) and web analytics, and possess strong project management skills. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and positive individual, with a desire to achieve the highest possible standards for themselves, the organisation, and for everyone involved in our sport. This role may suit a candidate with experience of managing a marketing team and digital campaigns, who is looking to make a step up in their career or transfer their skills to fulfil a passion for sport.

Successful working relationships are key to any role. Our new Head of Marketing will report into our Director of Partnerships & Commercial and will be an integral and valued member of our Marketing & Communications team.

The role will benefit from our successful hybrid working model, where Tuesday to Thursday all colleagues work from our Loughborough head office, providing a supportive, collaborative, and fun working environment, with flexible working on Mondays and Fridays, working from home as work commitments allow.
