Job Responsibilities
Performs under the general supervision of the master craftsman and maintenance supervisor to complete skilled duties in the area of HVAC, including all types of heat pumps, building systems, cooling towers and air conditioners.
Minimum And Additional Requirements
A high school diploma and trade experience that is directly related to the area of employment. EPA-approved freon recovery certification is required. Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics. A valid driver's license and safe driving history are required.
Additional Comments
Must have thorough knowledge of methods, techniques and procedures relating to HVAC and a high level of skill in the actual application and use of that knowledge. Must have knowledge of the tools, equipment, materials and supplies used in the HVAC trade. Must have the ability to work off ladders and scaffolds, crawl under buildings, work above ceilings and lift up to 50 pounds.
