School Year: 2024-2025
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in Hitchcock, TX. This full-time position is for an elementary school setting, starting ASAP and running through the end of the school year.
Position Highlights:
• Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: End of the 2024-2025 school year
• Caseload: Elementary school students
• Location: Hitchcock, TX
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary students with communication disorders
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
• Conduct assessments, diagnose communication disorders, and track student progress
• Provide recommendations and strategies to parents and school staff to support students’ language development
Qualifications:
• Licensure: Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Experience: Prior experience in a school setting or with pediatric clients is preferred
• Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
