What You Will Do
• Define and develop the overall performance testing strategy, including test plans, scenarios, and test cases.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather performance requirements, define key metrics (response times, throughput, latency, etc.), and identify testing objectives.
• Lead the design, execution, and monitoring of performance, load, stress, scalability, and endurance testing.
• Simulate and validate the performance of applications under expected and peak loads.
• Ensure proper configuration of testing environments and test data setup.
• Analyze performance test results to detect and report application bottlenecks, scalability issues, and potential risks.
• Evaluate, implement, and manage performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner etc.
• Develop custom test scripts and manage automation frameworks as needed.
• Optimize and tune performance test environments and tools for better efficiency.
• Work closely with development, architecture, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to resolve performance-related issues.
• Collaborate with QA, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure end-to-end testing coverage.
• Provide regular reports on performance testing progress, issues, risks, and test results to project stakeholders.
• Analyze performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and recommend solutions for performance optimization.
• Review and suggest improvements in code, infrastructure, or system architecture to enhance performance.
• Ensure continuous monitoring of applications in production environments for performance and stability.
• Lead and provide mentorship and guidance to other peers in technical and process-related matters.
• Set best practices for performance testing, automation, and CI/CD integration.
• Manage workload, allocate resources, and ensure timely delivery of performance testing milestones.
• And other duties as assigned.

What To Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10-12 years of experience in performance testing with a strong focus on load, stress, and scalability testing.
• Expertise in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or similar.
• Strong understanding of performance tuning, application profiling, and infrastructure optimization.
• Experience with cloud-based testing environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Knowledge of programming or scripting languages like Java, Python, Bash, or JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience integrating performance tests in DevOps workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on performance bottleneck identification and resolution.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience reporting to senior management.

Nice To Have
• Certification in performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner Certification, Blazemeter, ISTQB).
• Experience with APM tools (Application Performance Monitoring) like Dynatrace, New Relic, or AppDynamics.
• Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
