This involves working in close collaboration with BoARD offices at Zone and Woreda ...level in distribution of inputs – seed, fertilizer and lime, through Gamo Gofa Farmers Fruit and Vegetable Cooperative Union and member cooperatives; and in marketing of farmers’ produce. Together with local Das and Kebele administration, select community members for project activities and facilitate appropriate training. Facilitate purchase and distribution of seed and fertilizer, and vegetable seeds. Work with farmers, cooperatives, and woreda agriculture office to ensure good crop management, disease control, and post harvesting storage and marketing by participating farmers.
