Russell Tobin & Associates is supporting a world-class organization that has an opening for Quality Engineer/Auditor near Maplewood, MN
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and submit PPAP documentation for new and modified products.
• Coordinate Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), First Article Inspection (FAI), and customer-specific requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering, Lean Value Stream, and Lab teams to complete FMEAs, Control Plans, Capability Studies, and more.
• Conduct first article inspections and ensure dimensional capability of products.
• Lead efforts for APQP, process control plans, and statistical analysis (SPC, Gage R&R).
• Address and resolve quality concerns using 8D and 5Y methods.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in product, quality, or engineering roles.
• Expertise in PPAP, APQP, Six Sigma, and quality improvement tools.
• Knowledge of AS9100/AS13100 standards and experience in aerospace preferred.
Additional Details:
• Location: Maplewood, MN 55144
• Position type: 12 months contract
• Pay range: $25-$30/hr. on W2
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
