This role involves working closely with the Finance and Administration Manager, Country Office staff, and Corporate Services Staff to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance.Key Responsibilities:- Assist in preparing annual budgets and expenditure forecasts for office operations, ensuring adherence to approved budgets.- Conduct thorough reviews of project financial documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulations.- Provide quarterly budget variance reports and track justifications for variances.- Support project staff in understanding and implementing financial and administrative policies and procedures.- Ensure accurate and timely financial information, including reviewing transactions, journal entries, account reconciliations, and reports.- Aid in procurement and payment processes for office equipment and supplies, adhering to procurement guidelines.- Prepare monthly financial reports with appropriate coding and allocations.- Manage service providers by drafting and monitoring administrative agreements.- Maintain inventories of office assets, ensuring proper maintenance, insurance, and reporting of damages or losses.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Business Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.- Professional qualification such as CPA or ACCA.- Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting and finance, with at least 3 years in project office administration.- Solid knowledge of accounting practices, financial systems, budgeting, and accounting controls, especially in an international context.- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Great Plains, QuickBooks, Peachtree) is an asset.- Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.- Ability to plan, organize, and meet deadlines, with flexibility to adapt to new situations.What We Offer:- Competitive salary and benefits, including health and dental coverage, pension plan, and flexible work hours.- Four weeks of vacation plus public holidays.- Support for learning and development opportunities.- A collaborative and engaging work environment.- Commitment to diversity and inclusion, with accommodations available for disabilities during the selection process.Application Process:- For more detailed information about the role, please refer to the attached Job Description.- Click the "Apply" button to submit your application.Nutrition International is an equal opportunity employer.
