Job Overview
Sunshine Smile Designs is excited to announce an opening for a Dental Assistant who will play a crucial role in our dynamic team. Our practice is committed to fostering a positive environment where our Dental Assistants are integral to delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide chair-side support to Doctors and Hygienists, including charting and patient education.
• Manage patient flow to ensure efficient scheduling and operations.
• Welcome patients warmly and create a positive experience for them.
• Take and process X-Rays as required.
• Assist in entering treatment plans and maintaining patient files under the direction of the Dentist.
• Ensure thorough sterilization of equipment and treatment areas.
• Monitor laboratory cases to guarantee readiness for the next day’s appointments.
Required Skills
• Dental Assistant Certification.
• Strong communication abilities and attention to detail.
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and positive atmosphere for both patients and colleagues.
• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred. X-Ray, Coronal polishing, and Nitrous Oxide certifications are advantageous.
Qualifications
• Certification in dental assisting is required.
• Prior experience in a dental assistant role is preferred.
