Job Title: Plant Maintenance Supervisor
Reports To: Plant Director
Job Function: Supervisor
Location: Standish, MI
Compensation: Targeting $80,000-90,000 base salary + Benefits + 401K + PTO

This company operates its own stamping and production facility in Standish, Michigan where their design and research personnel develop and solve special application problems for customers. Most importantly, everyone is dedicated to serving their clients and solving unique problems.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Lead the Maintenance and Stamping Departments using the objectives, procedures, and practices of the company as a guide. Ensure employees follow procedures using safe practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
• 4-5 years of relevant experience with High school diploma or GED
• Proven Supervisory/Management and Leadership Skills, having managed a team of direct reports (required)
• Tool, Die, and Press experience (required)
• In depth technical comprehension and abilities
• Proven record of machine diagnosis and repair (required)
• Die setup, repair, and troubleshooting of progressive stamping dies. (required)
• De coilers and feeder setup and repair for progressive stamping dies. 40-140SPM.
• Basic understanding of electrical properties
• Must be able to read blue prints (required)
Functional Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensure department adherence to company safety standards, policies and procedures.
• Maintain sufficient inventories of tools, parts, and supplies in order to properly maintain the operations and property.
• Maintain systems for monitoring and tracking service requests, preventive maintenance work performed, calibrations performed and compliance with internal and external safety parameters.
• Keep storage and shop areas in a clean, orderly, and organized manner.
• Periodically inspects operations and property to ensure required maintenance and repairs are completed.
• Continuous assessment of machinery and infrastructure to address operational liabilities.
• Develop employees to build an effective, proactive team that works together to achieve company objectives
• Train, develop, counsel, and review employees, as necessary, according to company policy and procedure to ensure successful operations.
• Create and Post Stamping Schedule with the assistance and input of the Assembly Supervisor
• Set up presses as required by schedule needs
• Maintain dies and die inventory to ensure timely deployment.
• Assist in development of budget and prioritizing plant capital expenditures.
• Provide solutions as necessary through our Continuous Improvement Process (CIF)
• Makes suggestions for process improvement.
• Electrical trouble shooting and possible repair.
• Maintain maintenance management system per ISO standards.
Computer Skills or Required Training:
• Basic computer skills
• Must be able to complete production reports
• Proficient in Solidworks / Cad
