Job Title: gLIMS Master Data Tester
Job Description
The gLIMS Master Data Tester will work on the Actalent Quality Team with a prominent bio-pharmaceutical client. This role supports the Quality Control Lab’s gLIMS Subject Matter Expert. Responsibilities include building Excel templates for master data in gLIMS, executing test scripts, and entering results for all samples and analyses. Some work may be completed off-site.
Responsibilities
• Consistently adhere to company, site, and laboratory safety rules, and report any safety issues immediately.
• Follow procedures at all times, adopting cGMP and cGDP practices.
• Understand analyses and specifications as well as experience with a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Maintain on-time training records.
• Organize and multi-task across projects and activities.
Essential Skills
• Experience with LIMS, GMP, HPLC.
• Bachelor's degree in a life science field.
• 2+ years of experience working with LIMS in a pharmaceutical setting.
• 2+ years of experience in a GMP laboratory environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience in pharmaceutical drug product testing.
• Knowledge of wet chemistry, microbiology, environmental monitoring, analytical chemistry, and quality control chemistry.
Work Environment
This is an office-based, hybrid role with some work completed off-site after initial training. The candidate will work closely with a dedicated team, including the gLIMS SME. Availability to be on-site five times a week may be required based on business needs. Initial training may necessitate more frequent on-site presence. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
