Job Description:
As a Lab Technician at Prema Hospital, you'll play a crucial role in analyzing various samples and conducting laboratory testing procedures to support patient care and diagnosis. Your work will contribute to the efficient operation of the hospital's laboratory and ensure accurate and reliable test results.
Responsibilities:
• Receive, label, and analyze samples such as blood, tissue, and toxic substances.
• Design and execute laboratory testing procedures following established standards and protocols.
• Conduct experiments using scientific methods to verify or reject hypotheses under defined conditions.
• Maintain detailed records of experimental procedures, observations, and results.
• Prepare and sterilize laboratory equipment and instruments for testing.
• Collaborate with other laboratory staff to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operation.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in biology, chemistry, medical technology, or a related scientific field.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and equipment.
• Proficiency in accurately analyzing and interpreting scientific data.
• Familiarity with standard laboratory safety protocols and procedures.
