Palm Beach Pediatrics offers a highly competitive total compensation and benefits package to employees, including but not limited to:

Requirements

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Relevant medical assistant education commensurate with certification if applicable.

Licensure/Certification

Certified Medical Assistant strongly preferred.

Experience

Minimum 1 year experience in a clinical, patient facing role. Pediatric experience preferred.

Other Requirements

Current CPR certificate.

Knowledge

Knowledge of clinical and theoretical clinical processes and principles.

Knowledge of human resources management principles.

Knowledge of medical practice protocols and standards.

Familiarity with state and federal laws related to health care (HIPAA, scope of practice, etc.)

Skills

Excellent communication skills, and willingness to help team members.

Excellent patient care and bedside manner, particularly with children.

Skill in documentation of patient care including reviewing for accuracy and completeness.

Abilities

Vaccine administration experience highly preferred.

Ability to communicate clearly with many different levels of both medical and administrative staff.

Ability to analyze medical records and documentation and identify problem areas.

Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, leadership, and external stakeholders.

Equipment Operated

Standard office equipment, CLIA-waived point-of-care lab equipment.

Work Environment

Combination of medical office and exam rooms. Frequent exposure to communicable diseases (including COVID-19), biohazards, and other conditions common in clinical settings.

Mental/Physical Requirements

Variety of walking, standing, sitting, bending, twisting, and reaching. Occasional need to lift/carry/move up to 50 pounds of equipment. Management of high-paced patient flow and related stressors.
