County Passaic Posted Date 2/22/2022 Expiration Date 3/24/2022 Description **CHILD CARE WORKER** The Northern Region Educational Services Commission is in search of a Child Care Worker to encourage the healthy intellectual and psychological growth of the children for the Riverdale Aftercare (Pompton Lakes Day Care) program. You will Co-teach and supervise them while also motivating them to use their mental capacities and exercise their imagination.
• *Responsibilities:**
• Provide basic care and caregiving activities
• Use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing etc.) to enhance the childs abilities
• Collaborate with other colleagues
• Adhere with teaching standards and safety regulations as established by the official sources
• *Skills:**
• Proven experience as a childcare / daycare worker
• Patience, flexibility, and love for children
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Certificate in first aid and CPR is a plus!
• Degree in early childhood education is a plus!
• *Schedule:**
• Monday to Friday
• 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm (and early dismissals)
• 10 months (with the possibility of summer hours at our Pompton Lakes Summer Program)
• *Experience:**
• Certified or experienced Child Care worker
