Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

Position Overview:
Soliant Education is looking for a skilled and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to work in a supportive school environment in Shoreview, MN. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality speech and language therapy services, helping students achieve their communication goals and succeed academically.
Responsibilities for SLP:
• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments as necessary.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student development.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities for SLPA:
• Assist the SLP in providing therapy services to students.
• Implement treatment plans as directed by the supervising SLP.
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the SLP.
• Work closely with teachers and parents to support student communication goals.
• Create a supportive environment to encourage student growth.
Qualifications for SLP:
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid Minnesota state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications for SLPA:
• Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant or a related field.
• Current SLPA certification.
• Eligibility for SLPA licensure in Minnesota.
• Experience in a school setting is a plus, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
