You’ll be joining a team that has driven double digit year on year growth through successful programme wins. Your future duties and responsibilities
You’ll be tasked with driving the development and winning of new business within assigned clients/departments within the UK Government arena. You’ll act as a key stakeholder for new Client relationships, taking ownership for the sales pursuits. We have a number of existing and new clients which you will be tasked with developing successful consultative relationships with. These relationships will need to be nurtured and developed to put us in the best position to win the work. This is an end-to-end pursuit role from suspect, prospect, opportunity through to closure. You’ll be joining an incredibly successful and supportive team and business unit and have access to the full range of our client offerings.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
You should be experienced in the full sales lifecycle with knowledge and understanding of UK Government framework deals and have a track record of successful wins under your belt. You’ll need to be able to demonstrate the ability to network and build consultative relationships with both new and existing clients, influencing and guiding them to ensure we are well positioned for deals as they come to market. You’ll also need to be able demonstrate leadership of mixed matrix teams in order to help deliver the bids. You will have a track record of success in winning work in UK Government and/or large Public Sector bodies selling in services, consultancy etc. We are not wedded to taking someone from a systems integrator background, although that would be ideal, what is most important is being able to develop rapport with our clients and be able to articulate clearly CGI offerings/solutions to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders, positioning CGI front and centre of their thoughts when they go to market with new programmes of work. Knowledge and experience of Shipley or similar sales methodologies would be ideal.
