Job Description
Experienced and dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) sought to join senior leadership team at a growing manufacturing company based in Buffalo, NY. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, leading production and quality initiatives, and implementing strategic changes across the organization. This individual will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring the achievement of business goals, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Main duties and responsibilities include the following:
• Lead all operational aspects of the business, including production, quality, engineering, and supply chain management.
• Develop and implement strategies to drive operational efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize production capacity.
• Foster a culture of change management, ensuring the successful implementation of new systems, processes, and technologies.
• Lead teams in machine shops, assembly, and testing environments, ensuring high standards of performance and quality.
• Oversee inventory control, ensuring optimal stock levels and effective supply chain management.
• Champion Lean Manufacturing principles to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to define and execute the company's long-term operational goals.
• Provide strong leadership and mentorship to department managers and staff, promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture.

The Successful Applicant
In return for an extremely competitive remuneration package, the successful candidate will possess the following:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field)
• Proven experience as a COO or senior operations leader in a manufacturing environment
• Expertise in machine shops, assembly, testing, and quality control processes
• Strong background in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with inventory control and supply chain management
• Ability to be based in-office, in/ around Buffalo NY
Candidates who are willing to relocate, are encouraged. A market rate relocation package will be provided.

• Annual performance related bonus target of 35%
