Coordinate the timely delivery of aluminium and glass products to ensure adherence to project timelines and customer expectations.Manage inventory levels of aluminium and glass, conducting regular audits to prevent stock shortages or overages.Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and transport vendors to negotiate contracts that optimize cost and service.Utilize industry-specific software to track shipments and manage logistics operations effectively.Prepare and monitor logistics documentation such as shipping manifests, invoices, and customs paperwork specific to aluminium and glass.Conduct regular assessments of transportation routes for efficiency, ensuring minimal damage to fragile materials.Collaborate with project managers and production teams to align logistics strategies with project needs and timelines.Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to logistics, providing timely resolutions to maintain satisfaction.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards specific to handling and transporting aluminium and glass.Analyze logistics data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in processes and cost-saving measures. A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in logistics, specifically in the aluminium and glass industry.Experience with logistics management software and inventory tracking systems is essential.Strong analytical skills to assess shipping costs and operational efficiency.Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage, especially if dealing with international clients.Proven problem-solving skills to address and resolve logistical challenges swiftly.Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy in documentation and shipping processes.
