Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer/Shipper to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced distribution center. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately packed and shipped to meet customer expectations. This position requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate various equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
• Accurately pack products for shipment, ensuring all items are secure and properly labeled.
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks to move materials within the warehouse.
• Perform heavy lifting as required, handling stock efficiently to maintain inventory levels.
• Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Assist in the organization of the warehouse to optimize space and improve workflow.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to meet shipping deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
• Mechanical knowledge is essential for operating equipment safely and effectively.
• Experience with forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) as part of daily tasks.
• Familiarity with materials handling processes in a distribution center environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in packing and shipping tasks.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Previous experience using RF scanners is an advantage but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $17.65 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
Schedule:
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
Experience:
• Distribution center: 2 years (Required)
• Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• RF scanner: 1 year (Preferred)
