Position Summary:
As the Market Director of Safety, Security, and Emergency Management, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Havasu Regional Medical Center and Valley View Medical Center. You will oversee the physical security operations for both campuses and lead the overall safety, security, and emergency management programs. This role involves developing, documenting, and implementing a comprehensive physical security program, which includes physical security technologies, risk assessment, regulatory compliance, emergency preparedness, and more.
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
FLSA: Exempt
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• OR associate degree in a related field, with 5 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field, along with 3 years of supervisory experience.
• OR a high school diploma or equivalent, with 10 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field, and 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Certification in one of the following preferred CHEP, CHSP, CHPP
• Knowledge of the Hospital Incident Command System (HICS)
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) training standards.
Licenses:
Drivers license and proof of vehicle insurance required if required to drive facility vehicle.
