We are looking for a committed, full time, and patient-focused Occupational Therapist, who focuses on helping children and adolescents develop the skills they need to grow and to enable them to engage in the meaningful activities of daily life as well as support the parents with evidence based education and supporting them with a home exercises program.
Responsibilities
• Delays in fine motor skills
• Help developing visual motor skills – tracking an object, hand-eye coordination
• Cognitive delays including problem-solving skills, memory, attention, and safety
• Children with sensory integration issues
• Delays in play and social interaction skills
• Help with learning basic self-care tasks, such as getting dressed, eating, and writing
• Maintain patient records, and documentation
• Initial and Re-Evaluations develop an effective plan of care
• Progress Summaries
• Interdisciplinary setting
• Collaborate with the SLP
