Our flagship transitional work program– Ready, Willing & Able– integrates paid work, occupational training, and holistic supportive services to facilitate an individual’s return to mainstream society.
The Doe Fund has an annual operating budget of $65 million and a full-time staff of 400+.
We are seeking a Part Time Residence Manager for the Crotona Park residence which is The Doe Fund’s newest permanent supportive housing program for men and women. The population will be a mix of seniors, formerly homeless individuals living with HIV/AIDS, individuals diagnosed with a mental illness, and/or substance abuse. The program is designed to provide long-term residential care and twenty-four-hour support services in a community environment that maximizes residents’ independence while ensuring their physical and emotional security and well-being. The majority of Crotona Park residents will be referred by the New York City HIV/AIDS Services Administration (HASA) and some by the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA).
The Part Time Residence Manager is responsible for the supervision of the residents and the overall operation of the facility during designated shifts. S/he will work collaboratively with the Clinical team and the Program Director to ensure that resident needs are being met as well as the safety of the facility. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills along with an understanding of working with the HIV/AIDS population, including seniors.
The shift we are looking to cover is: Saturday and Sunday 9 am – 9 pm.
