BlackRock’s Fixed Income Team offers an array of fixed income products designed to meet specific client risk and return profiles. The business applies fundamental investment styles and strategies to generate alpha for clients across asset classes and global markets.
The Fixed Income Client Lead will be responsible for representing these products to internal and external clients including investment consultants, existing clients, and prospects. The team is centrally involved in the firm’s thought leadership agenda. Critical to the success of the team is the maintenance of strong relationships with the Global Client Business, who is responsible for managing and developing BlackRock’s client relationships.
Job Purpose/Background:
This role will develop and promote our commercial efforts across the franchise.
The global fixed income range of funds comprise a diverse range of strategies, fixed income assets, and portfolio management teams including both unconstrained and benchmark-oriented funds. The team’s clients are located around the world. Having successfully built and grown a range of active mutual funds and bespoke mandates with considerable commercial success, the team offers a comprehensive ESG overlay to complement and complete our offering.
The individual will work in partnership with sales, marketing, portfolio managers, risk management, and other key stakeholders to promote and support the products, with a clear mandate and focus on commercial activities, both sales and defense. The successful candidate will possess knowledge of fixed income markets, investment management, and global economics. Additionally, the candidate must have exceptional commercial skills, the ability to create and deliver on sales targets, and pivot to defense where appropriate. Strong communication skills and the ability to form trusted relationships with colleagues across the firm will also be key.

For New York City only: The salary range for this position is $260,000 - $350,000. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, firm, department, and individual performance.
