POSITION: Director of Sales
JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Sales is responsible for revenue production for hotels, meeting or exceeding planned revenue objectives for occupancy and average daily rate (ADR). This role requires a sales mindset and the ability to sell the 'product' effectively.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
High school graduate or equivalent with two to three years of sales experience; one year of progressive Sales experience.
INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in the hospitality industry (preferred); experience in hospitality sales policies and procedures (preferred).
REQUIRED SKILLS
Must be able to travel up to 20%; persuasive interpersonal skills; self-directed; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; flexibility in schedules; excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to multi-task and problem-solve.
