Electrician Engineer/Electrician - Domestic/Commercial - GRADE 4
Position: Electrical Engineer / Electrician
Location: Newport
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40-hour contract (early Friday finish)
On Call: 1 in 4
Salary: £37k - £40k (Between 20%- 25% additional OTE)
3x call out rate

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Management Team in realising the Company’s vision and delivering excellent services.
• Collaborate as part of high-performing teams.
• Support the proactive development and service delivery of world-class standards.

• Continuously review and optimise working standards for effectiveness and efficiency.
Specific Roles:
• Respond to emergency callouts and provide prompt solutions.
• Prepare Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) with attention to detail.
• Upgrade consumer units for safety and compliance.
• Rewire houses to meet client needs.
• Install EV charging points in residential and light commercial premises.
• Provide expert advice and accurate quotes for remedial work.
• Collaborate with the support team to deliver exceptional services.
• Expand the client base through effective communication and client management.
• Contribute to social media content to showcase expertise.
• Train and mentor apprentices, shaping the future of the industry.

Person Specification:
• Education & Training:
• Level 3 Award in Electrical Installations (18th Edition)
• C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing or 2394/5
• C&G 236 Part 1 & 2 or equivalent
• EV Charging (preferred)
• NICEIC approved or equivalent (preferred)
• Experience & Knowledge:
• 5+ years as a qualified electrician
• Experience in a domestic services environment
• Proven experience of supporting, motivating, and developing apprentices
• Demonstrated personal integrity when dealing with sensitive issues
• Experience in the service industry
• Skills & Abilities:
• Proven ability to communicate confidently and effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
• Ability to build and support positive working relationships
• Proven problem-solving skills for electrical issues
• Confident IT skills, including use of Apple iPad and iPhone
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to follow policy and procedure
