Responsibilities:
• Plan, supervise, interpret, and report on diagnostic imaging studies to enhance patient care.
• Collaborate effectively with a team of experienced medical professionals.
• Build strong patient relationships through clear communication, empathy, and a patient-focused approach.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with referring physicians, ensuring their confidence in our services.
• Perform general body ultrasound, including MSK, breast, obstetrical, and vascular imaging.
• Conduct image-guided MSK and basic spine procedures for pain management under fluoroscopy and ultrasound.
• Execute screening and diagnostic mammography.
• Perform general radiography and bone mineral densitometry.
Qualifications:
• Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, Diagnostic Radiology, or equivalent.
• Eligibility for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Eligibility or accreditation with the Canadian Association of Radiologists for mammography.
• Membership with the CMPA.
• Eligibility for an Alberta Health billing number and practitioner ID.
• Strong communication skills with patients and a multidisciplinary medical team.
