JOB SUMMARY:
Under general supervision controls the distribution of cards/dice during the game(s) on any given table in the Pit; determines proper amount of chips to be dispersed on customer buy-in or pay-off; teaches unskilled players the rules of the game; provides a superior level of WE ROCK service to guests; and performs other duties as required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (This job specification may not include all the duties listed, nor do the examples cover all the duties that may be performed.)
Deal a variety of table games including dice/craps, blackjack, 3 card poker, and roulette strictly following in-house procedures in order to provide a superior gaming/entertainment experience and excellent guest service.
Provide chips of different denominations to guests in exchange for cash as requested; place all cash in drop and notify supervisor when large denominations are exchanged in order to promote timely play at the table.
Verify the bank roll for the assigned table upon opening and closing the table by counting chips and confirming the amount with the supervisor.
Recognize and resolve guest problems or disputes employing the practices of WE ROCK in order to implement mutually satisfactory solutions and promote return visits.
Order "fills" or send "credits" as necessary, verifying the amounts at the time of receipt or deposit, in order to keep the game running without interruption.
Maintain knowledge of the names and gaming activities of top players in order to recognize and acknowledge them as valued guests/players.
Provide instruction to guests in the rules and procedures for playing various table games in order to encourage new players and promote return visits.
Respond to guests' questions, using the WE ROCK customer service model, providing information about casino gaming promotions, special and other events and/or programs outlined in the Quick Reference Guide in order to assist guests, advertise marketing campaigns and encourage guest attendance and participation.
Previous fulltime experience as a dealer in a casino table games environment which included craps, blackjack, 3 card poker and roulette games.
Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of application.Must be able to obtain Gaming Employee Registration in the State of Nevada.
