Position Purpose: As a Seasonal/Sales Associate you are fast, friendly and efficient helping our customers with their projects.In between assisting customers and stocking shelves you will have to set up merchandise,answer the telephones,and bring out merchandise to the sales floor.You may also be required to water plants and assist in the greenhouse. Requirements/Qualifications :Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays. Ability to understand computer software programs, store procedures and policies1-2 years of prior retail or industry related experience is beneficial .Willingness to learn and expand with company developments .Ability to work cooperatively in team atmosphere .Maintain a positive attitude, while executing excellent customer service and communication skills. Duties/Responsibilities: Actively seek out and offer a friendly greeting throughout the entire store. Ask open ended questions to be able to determine their needs and find a solution that the customer finds satisfaction with.*Be enthusiastic with the customer and show compassion when appropriate to do so.*Thank the customer, not the other way around.*Provide specialized knowledge in our seasonal products.*Complete additional duties as assigned by management.*Willing to participate in seminars, webinars, training sessions and meetings as required to expand your knowledge.*Complete all Health and Safety Training required by government and company regulations.*Work in a safe manner in accordance to all safety legislation.*Report any potential hazards and unsafe working environment to management in order to have it corrected.
