Key Responsibilities
Helpline Management:
Answer and manage incoming calls to the tree helpline.
Provide accurate and comprehensive information about trees, environmental
programs, and initiatives led by the organization.
Donor Care Support
Ensure a positive and empathetic experience for all helpline callers.
Resolve inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to callers, understanding their needs, and offering appropriate solutions.
Donor And Volunteer Engagement
Assist callers in understanding the various ways they can support our cause,
including donations, volunteering, and participating in events.
Maintain a positive and engaging dialogue with donors and potential volunteers.
Information Dissemination
Stay informed about current environmental issues, tree conservation efforts, and the organization's ongoing projects to provide up-to-date information.
Distribute educational materials and resources to the person who has enquired about the same.
Database Management
Record and maintain accurate records of helpline interactions in the organization's database.
Generate reports on helpline activity as needed.
Collaboration
Work closely with other team members to coordinate volunteer activities, events, and initiatives.
Collaborate with the communications team to develop helpline-related content for the organization's website and social media channels.
Area And Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge and passion for environmental conservation and tree-related initiatives.
Previous experience in customer service or helpline management is a plus.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
