Minimum Qualifications:
• Current dental hygienist license in Virginia and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene.
• Excellent knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
• CPR Certification.
Preferred Experience:
• 1-2 years of clinical experience.
• Proficiency in using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital X-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
• Eagerness to continue learning and enhance clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to perform essential duties as required by the office/doctor/Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds.
• Availability to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year.
