Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Position Overview:
Join our team as a Behavior Technician and be part of a compassionate community. Your role may evolve, but your primary focus will be to implement Behavior Analysis Support Plans (BASP) precisely as instructed.
Your Day at Brightside:
• Implement BASPs and collect data during sessions.
• Monitor client progress and provide recommendations for program adjustments.
• Develop materials for clients and attend scheduled training/supervision meetings.
• Adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality.
• Work collaboratively with team members to support clients’ growth.
What You Need to Succeed:
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Skills and Qualifications:
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• RBT Certification: Must have completed a 40-hour RBT training course and hold current RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
• Experience: Previous experience working with children, particularly those with Autism or other developmental conditions, is preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication, patience, and ability to follow behavior plans.
• Availability: Flexible schedule, including potential evenings or weekends, based on client needs.
• Transportation: Reliable transportation to travel to client homes or center locations.
• Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check.
