A globally renowned and market-leading technology OEM are looking to hire a Technical Support Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis at their site in Fareham.
The primary focus of this customer-facing role is to efficiently and effectively resolve product-related enquiries.
Key responsibilities include:
• Proving first and second line support in relation to telephone enquiries associated with an exciting range of electronic products.
• This will involve resolving hardware, software and networking faults
• Escalating faults, symptoms, and potential resolutions to relevant technical teams for formal resolution, as appropriate.
• Running product training sessions for 3rd party resellers and distributers both on site and on webinars
• Supporting R&D engineering teams with technical feedback to drive product improvements.
To be considered for this position, candidates need to have proven experience in a customer-facing role and some experience in electrical, electronic, or hardware repair and diagnostics. In addition, it would be advantageous to hold a technical qualification in engineering, IT, or related discipline.
