Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Solar PV and Battery Storage Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in solar photovoltaic and battery storage systems and demonstrate proficiency in various the mechanical tasks. This role requires a hands-on approach to installation, maintenance, and repair systems in both residential and commercial settings. The Electrician will work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all electrical work meets safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities
• Install, maintain, and repair solar photovoltaic and battery storage equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting on electrical components to identify faults and implement solutions.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used on our job management platform.
• Conduct inspections of previouslt installed systems to ensure proper operation.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their electrical needs.

Experience
• Proven experience as a Solar PV based electrician or in a similar role is essential. Training may be considered for the right candidate.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to install systems to a high and competent standard.
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment related to electrical work.
• Familiarity with electrical codes and safety standards is highly desirable.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• NVQ Level 3 or job specific qualificaitons neccesary.
