QUALIFICATIONS:
• Pleasant personality with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work night shifts, travel to different Toyota branches and handle varying work demands.
• Willingness to undergo training and learn new automotive technical skills.
• Automotive technical background and familiarity with vehicle operations.
• Possession of valid driver's license codes 1,2, and 3 with a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive tow trucks (6-wheelers) is preferred.
Job Summary:
The Car Jockey Driver / Technician at Toyota Cagayan de Oro plays a dual role involving vehicle transportation and technical assistance. This position requires a pleasant demeanor, ability to work independently, flexibility to adapt to varying work schedules including night shifts and travel to different Toyota branches, and willingness to undergo training.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive and maneuver vehicles safely within dealership premises and to various locations as required.
• Ensure timely and efficient delivery and pickup of vehicles according to schedules and customer requests.
• Handle vehicles with care and maintain cleanliness during transportation.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and diagnostics to identify issues.
• Assist in minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed, ensuring vehicles are in optimal condition for delivery.
• Provide support to the service team in vehicle handling and preparation.
• Interact professionally with customers and dealership staff, providing courteous and efficient service.
• Communicate vehicle-related information clearly and effectively to relevant stakeholders.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while driving and handling vehicles.
• Maintain compliance with dealership policies and procedures regarding vehicle handling and maintenance.
• Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge of automotive operations.
• Stay updated on new vehicle models, features, and technical specifications.
