Introduction
Our client a global leader in the renewable energy sector requires an Accountant to join their service team based in Sandton, JHB.
You would report to the Finance Manager based in Gauteng and will work with the finance team based in London as required.
Working hours Monday - Friday 09:00 - 18:00.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Preparation of monthly financial reports.
• Managing the general ledger.
• Completion of the monthly accruals, journals, fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
• Weekly cash flow reporting.
• Managing foreign currency payments.
• Executing payments and performing monthly bank recons.
Desired Experience & Qualification
• BCOM Accounting.
• 3-5 years Accounting Experience within the Renewable Energy/Oil and Gas/Energy/Mining or Construction environments.
• Completed Articles an advantage.
• Newly qualified CA (SA) will be considered.
