Job Overview
The Executive Director of Outpatient Services is a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, entrusted with the operational and strategic direction of The Health Clinic. This includes oversight of Family Practice, Express Care Clinics, Specialty Care Clinics, and LCH outpatient services. The role offers the opportunity to influence the planning and development of both current and future outpatient services in collaboration with executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide operational supervision of staff and providers within the outpatient environment, including leased provider clinics.
• Collaborate with the Radiology and Laboratory Managers on non-hospital-based radiology and laboratory services.
• Oversee outpatient infusion, wound care, and cardiac rehabilitation services.
• Coordinate community outreach and population health services with the Director of EMS.
• Manage budgets and ensure strong financial performance for outpatient services.
• Develop and implement training and education programs to promote exemplary customer service.
• Foster an engaging workplace culture that prioritizes outstanding patient care.
• Ensure efficient patient flow and adequate staffing to maintain compliance and satisfaction.
• Work closely with the Quality Director to advance quality improvement initiatives.
• Lead strategic planning endeavors for relevant departments.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding credentialing and other operational aspects.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Proven success in leading an outpatient clinic or a similar healthcare setting.
