We are currently seeking a Customer QualityEngineer in Montreal. This position willsit in our Quality team
reporting directly to our Sr. QualityManager. The Customer Quality Engineer will lead and manage quality
improvement plans.This personwill track customer scorecards and initiate improvement plansand perform

Responsibilities
Implements Quality Engineering activities defined by the Quality & Operating Systems Manager to support
MBG operation and quality assurance department.
Ability to talk to corporate customers to resolve Quality issues.
Review, update and issue new Control Plans, Inspection Control Cards, and Quality Alerts.
Participates along with Engineering Department in new product development and validation of FAI/PPAP.
Responds to customer issues, investigates customer non-conformances, establish clean point, and support
the team to implement corrective actions.
Communicates with customer and suppliers regarding quality issues as required.
Acts as a customer contact for specific programs and responds to all customer’s needs as required.
Maintain & manage Quality Gates, measure and improve quality thru findings by improving process /
product control.
Initiates and champion on assigned Continuous Improvement Projects.
Conduct Control Plan and audits. Assists the Quality & Operating Systems with day-to-day quality issues.
Participates in quality planning/improvement activities.
Review and approve supplier’s PPAPs
Support creation of D/PFMEA’s working with engineering department.
Manage and facilitate the root cause & corrective actions system through tracking and validation of issues and
support in root cause analysis through facilitating brainstorming, use of lean methodologies, hypothesis
testing, design of experiments, DMAIC, 8D, etc.
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Materials or Industrial Engineering, or
equivalent.
Professional Engineer, Member of the OIQ (Order of Quebec Engineer) is an asset.
Minimum 4 years of experience in quality field (Products or/and Manufacturing).
Six Sigma certification is preferred.
Specific training and demonstrated success in applying design for quality, problem-solving methodologies,
FMEA, process capability analysis, DoE and SPC
Strong background and demonstrated success applying statistical methods.
Minitabor Other Statistical Software Capabilities Are Preferred.
