Introduction
An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Credit Controller to join a niche manufacturing company based in Sandton. We are looking for an experienced professional with at least 10 years’ of experience in Debtors Management/Credit Control, in Business-to-Consumer (B2C) environments. You will be responsible for maximizing cash flow through effective debt collection strategies, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring adherence to credit policies. This role will require close collaboration with various departments and high-level clients, ensuring smooth credit management processes and a superior client experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
• Maximize cash flow by ensuring timely debt collection and minimizing risk
• Provide regular financial reports on forecasts, account receivables, revenue, and cash flow
• Oversee age analysis and client account management, optimizing customer performance
• Develop and enforce credit and invoicing policies to ensure compliance across departments
• Maintain and update the Debtors database, ensuring accuracy and uniformity
• Manage and reduce aged debt while providing cash flow projections
• Oversee legal handover to debt collection agencies or lawyers when necessary
• Ensure timely invoicing and provide accurate client statements
• Regularly report on credit management, highlighting areas of concern and making recommendations
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with high-net-worth individuals

• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Team management experience and effective leadership abilities
Desired Experience & Qualification
• Tertiary qualification in Credit Management or Finance
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in a credit control/debtors management role with a B2C focus
• Strong client management and relationship-building abilities, particularly with high-net-worth clients
• Proven track record in debt collection, cash flow management, and credit reporting
• Familiarity with credit management principles, debt collection laws, and invoicing processes
• Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting
• Xero experience is advantageous
Package & Remuneration
R25 000 - R30 000 p/m CTC
