Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide care and assistance to individuals in need. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients by offering personalized support and ensuring their well-being.
Duties
- Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or mental health.
- Engage in meaningful activities with clients to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- A genuine passion for providing care and support to others.
- Ability to work well within a team and independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of basic medical procedures and terminology is an asset.
- Willingness to undergo any necessary training or certifications.
