TLP are hiring HGV 1 Shunters /Port Shunters to join our customer's operation based in Felixstowe, working Monday to Friday, we have dedicated night shift available. This is an amazing opportunity for candidates seeking regular work with the benefit of working with Britain’s largest port.
• Night hours 1900-0700 - £19.00 Per Hour (PAYE), £25.00 (Umbrella)
• Plus holiday pay

Job Role:
• Operating in an HGV 1 Cab with a 40ft port trailer (no coupling or uncoupling involved)
• Shunting containers throughout the port and supporting the rail terminals
• Communicating with colleagues and supervisors via a radio system
• Monday to Friday, 60 hours per week
• 12-hour shifts
• Two x 45-minute paid breaks
• Follow all health and safety procedures

Requirements:
• Must hold a valid HGV 1 Licence
• Hold a Rhides Card (Port of Felixstowe) (Preferred)
• Attend an induction and a day of training, as per customer requirements
• Must be able to effectively communicate via a radio system
• Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
• Excellent communication skills
• Comply with the strict Drug & Alcohol testing requirements
