The Manager of Pricing is responsible for overseeing pricing strategies that align with market dynamics and business objectives, driving revenue growth and profitability. Their expertise in pricing analysis and optimization supports competitive pricing and revenue maximization. Will play a vital role in setting pricing, discounts, and promotions to attract customers while maintaining profitability. With the pricing strategies, businesses can capture market opportunities, achieve pricing differentiation, and optimize pricing structures that resonate with target customers. Their work supports revenue optimization, market positioning, and overall business success in a competitive pricing landscape.
Job Responsibilities:
• Developing and implementing pricing strategies that enhance profitability
• Working closely with other teams to closely track movements in costs
• Monitoring and reporting on pricing performance and competitiveness
• Ownership over the delivery of the annual price review and rollout to customer base as well as complete data maintenance of ERP system.
• Analyzing price change requests from the sales team by evaluating margin impact, potential incremental volume, and competitor price levels
• Assist in creating promotional campaigns, and conducting pricing optimization and cost-benefit analysis Developing pricing proposals for new products and services
• Tracking market trends and keeping up to date on prices set by competitors
• Collaborating with operations, sales, procurement and finance teams on pricing decisions
• Staying updated with pricing best practices and market dynamics
Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in Business Administration
• Waste Industry/Service Industry experience desired
• You have prior experience in a similar role including solid exposure to managing pricing processes, implementing pricing initiatives, and creating pricing process documentation.
• You possess a strong understanding of pricing strategies and concepts
• You have excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• You possess strong analytical skills, are comfortable dealing with numerical data, and have strong attention to detail
