Job Title:Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Starkville, MS, 39760
Payrate: $52/hourly
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Days: Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat
Your pay is based on Local or Travel position. Travel is residence >50 miles from the facility.
Job Description
• Occupational Therapy (OT) is a client-centered health profession focused on enabling individuals of all ages to perform daily activities (occupations) that are meaningful and necessary for their well-being. Occupational therapists help people regain, develop, or maintain the skills needed for day-to-day life through therapeutic activities, adaptive techniques, and environmental modifications.
• OT practitioners work in diverse settings such as hospitals, schools, rehabilitation centers, and homes, addressing a wide range of physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges. Their goal is to improve clients' independence and quality of life by facilitating participation in work, self-care, and leisure activities.
