• Assists Library instructors in administering the self-paced, online library LALT course through the Canvas learning management system.• Monitors and assesses student progress, reaching out to students who are falling behind to ensure timely course completion.• Oversees the administration of the LALT1020 requirements and final exam.• Coordinates technical aspects of the course with the Center for Teaching and Learning to ensure smooth operation.• Supports Library Instruction team with instructional initiatives and projects aimed at enhancing teaching and learning of information literacy, improving user experience, leveraging instructional technologies, and evaluating educational outcomes.• Work closely with library instructors to ensure course content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with learning objectives.• Assists in assessing and updating course materials, including content, assignments, and assessments, to maintain relevance and improve instructional effectiveness while adhering to accessibility standards• Ensure that all course components?content, assessments, and activities?align with the defined learning outcomes and objectives• Assists in delivering and assessing relevant introductory workshops, instructional guides, orientationsRequirements:• Graduate degree in Rhetoric, Writing Studies or closely related field• Experience with educational technologies• Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously• Knowledge of pedagogical best practices, trends, and assessment with a particular focus in information literacy• Strong collaboration skills with experience leading a project to completion• Experience developing student-led learning activities in the creation of online or in-person instruction sessions• demonstrated experience in teaching college-level writing, preferably in a program emphasizing research-based writing• Understanding of teaching research in a resource-rich research university
